    Description

    Both bottles stand 6 1/2" tall. The Hayes bottle is Aqua glass. with a mug style bottom. Embossed"  HAYES BROS. CHIGAGO ILL. with a horseshoe registered trademark  established 1871. On the back it is embossed "THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD." It has a piece of an old bail rattling around on the inside.  It has some chips and scuffs. There is damage on the lip area. No cracks.   The Howell bottle stands 6 1/2" tall, of light aqua glass. It has a loose bail inside. The interior is hazy and has residue. It has only a couple minor nicks and no cracks. The embossing is clear on the front inside of an oval shape. " THE HOWELL BOTTLING CO. LAFAYETTE, IND. Both bottles could use a bottle tumbling to show their beauty.
