Up for auction, is a rare Hindle & Company BlackPool Codd Beverage bottle, around circa 1890-1900. This bottle has no damage period no breaks, cracks,or flea bites. Just the regular irregularities, that some glass will have. It's thick and has weight, this item is embossed, on the front and bottom of the bottle.The bottom has a 11B2 with 10 oz with another symbol, that looks like a flying w. There is a rubber washer, to create the seal when it had a beverage in it. Also, there is a what looks like, the color could have been blue at one time a marble. This bottle stand at 9 1/4'' tall and the color is a light green. The guy who invented this type of technology, to keep the carbonated drink sealed name is Hiram Codd of Britain.
