*Up for sale here is a very nice mug base eagle picture hutchinson soda bottle, from the Allegheny County city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This scarce example should date from the 1890's era. This hutch is in near perfect shape, and the smoky colored aqua glass is sparkling clean, and was never tumbled. Bottle has seen some super light wear, which is non detracting. There is some nice light orange peel texture to the old glass. Please see all the pictures. Displays very handsomely.
*It is crisply embossed within a tombstone shaped slug plate, as it reads ~ "EAGLE SODA WATER CO. / (eagle motif) / Registered / PITTSBURG, PA." Pittsburgh is without the "H" on the bottle. The winged eagle on the bottle is nicely detailed and very crisp. The mug base is plain. On the lower back side it  reads with the Pittsburgh glass house initials ~ "C & CO NO. 6". This attractive example measures 7 1/8 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this vintage piece of soda pop bottling history, from southwestern Pennsylvania.
