    Description

This bottle stands 6 1/4 " Tall. It has a unique trademark embossed on the front and the bottom. Looks like a fish with a large W center and a small C on the bottom fin. Embossed clearly on the front with CHAS. WESTERHOLM & CO. It also has initials on the front bottom.  N B B C  CO.  It is thick glass and has some scuffing and the tiny chips on the lip, otherwise very clear and shiny glass.    FYI: FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN BOTTLE HISTORY I FOUND AN ARTICLE IN "BOTTLES AND EXTRAS" NEWS CIRCULAR. FROM THE WINTER OF 2003 PAGE 48,49, AND 50. BY AUTHOR JOE TERRY.  It is about the NORTH BALTIMORE BOTTLE GLASS COMPNY. (It has a picture of this bottle I have up for bid right now. I showed it in my pictures.) The factory was in North Baltimore, Ohio. It was started by John J. Geghan. In May of 1888.  All the North Baltimore Bottle Glass Company's standard molds were carved with a miniature logo "NBBG. CO"  placed at the rear heal of the bottle. He made bottles for private bottlers, that did not carry the logo, among them also was a druggist/medicine manufacture  from Toledo, Ohio Frank J Cheney. And in one year alone churned out nearly 500,000 of the 4-ounce Hall's Catarrh Cure Bottles for him plus many others. Just fyi.
