Bachmann Durango & Silverton #177 4-6-0 Steam Locomotive & Coal Tender
G Scale - Excellent Used Condition
This auction is for a
Bachmann D&S #177 'Bumble Bee' Steam Loco & Coal Tender.
This loco operates off  of standard track power and performs best on 4' diameter curves or greater. It measures approximately 31.0"L x 5.0"W x 7.5"H,  including the coal tender.
This loco is fully operational, forward and reverse. The front headlight works just fine, in forward and reverse directions.  While adding to the realism of the tender, its rear light is non-functional, as there is no provision for a bulb in its housing.  A standard '9VDC' battery installed in the tender makes things come alive with speed-synchronized electronic steam sound.  The locomotive comes with a smoke feature, but I did not test it. In fact, the original tube of smoke oil hasn't even been opened,  and will be shipped with the locomotive and tender set. Finally, an LGB flat magnet is glued to the bottom of the engine, for activation  of remote relays on a layout, if so equipped.
This loco and tender set is free from damage and missing parts. It is in excellent condition, having spent the majority of its life  on display in my office.
