    Description

    Antique hutchinson soda bottle embossed MERRITT MOORE JR - BOTTLER - HUDGINS P.O.VA. This is the only hutch I've ever seen with a Post Office embossed as the location. Hudgins is an unincorporated community in Mathews County, Virginia. This bottle does have some condition issues. The top has been replaced at the neck (a good repair job in my opinion) and it has several bruises around the base. It appears to have been oiled at some point, possible to hide some haze. The bottle has a light sun colored amethyst tint to it.
