    Description

Here are 2, Waterman's Ideal, Antique, Fountain Pens. The patent dates on the side of each say, "1884, 1899 and Aug.4,1903". They each have a 14k Gold Nib. The longer one is 5 1/4" long and 7/16" in diameter and the shorter, smaller one is almost 4 5/8" and 3/8" in diameter. There is a small place where the gold band is split as seen in the last photo on the longer pen.
We are selling these vintage fountain pens for a customer that years ago just enjoyed the hunt for them and these have not been restored.  You are buying these "as is" with no guarantees.
Please zoom up on our photos for the best description as this is exactly what you
    will receive
and thank you for taking time to check out our auction. If you have questions,
    please
ask as early as possible because many times we do not have access to our computer the day the auctions end.
Please note that our auctions are "no return" auctions
    unless
we made a mistake or error in our
    listing
description OR you agree to pay return shipping and a restocking fee IF you just aren't happy with your purchase.  (more details below)  Please read our des
cription carefully, check over photos, and ask questions early.  We believe it works best for you to take
    care of any d
amage on insured packages from careless shipping carriers by filing a claim at your local Post Office or online... as this way there is no need for return shipping.
    THANK YOU!!
Our hope is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
We make every effort to describe each item as thoroughly as possible and any known defects & unusual wear will be noted. Most of our sale items are from the 1970s and prior. Please do not bid if you expect your item to be guaranteed to work as if it was a "new item" that you buy at a store today.  We do guarantee what we state in our description but can't guarantee the future use on vintage items. Because most of our items are anywhere from 40 years old and older, they may not be able to withstand vigorous everyday use that new items can, especially items with moving parts.
We hope our description and photos give you the important details about the items we are selling, so please make sure you read and view our auctions carefully.
If you decide to return your item because you claim that it is "not as described" please understand that we need detailed reasons and photos why you believe it
    doesn't match the auction.
Always ask questions if you are in doubt. And please before filing a claim or return, let us know first.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we  cannot personally guarantee your items will always arrive in the same condition as they were shipped…and that is the reason for shipping insurance. If items are damaged in shipping, we prefer you to file a claim with the carrier used, as this will avoid having to ship it back to us. If you need more information, we are happy to help. We would appreciate it if your payment reaches us within 48 hours of your winning bid...unless we agree to a delayed payment before the auction ends. We will leave you feedback after you let us know you are satisfied by giving us feedback.   Thank you for your time.
